How Often Should You Re-Do Your Portfolio?

If you are getting loads of auditions, but most of them don’t suit your typecast at all, the problem is usually with your acting portfolio, whether if it’s with you or your agency.

If you are only getting booked for commercials, then chances are that your portfolio isn’t good enough.

Study your portfolio:

Do your pictures actually look like you?

Do you look radiant/glowing?

Is your portfolio up to date? (Taken within the last year)

Do you have a variety of different headshots?

Do you look your best and not monochromatic?

Are your pictures in high resolution?

Does your portfolio “compete” with others? (Look into other actor’s portfolios)

If you answered no to any of these questions then it’s time to re-do your portfolio! The sooner you do so, the sooner you will get your money back, as well as you time and efforts worth.

Good luck!
